Bird Walks
November 4 and 18 -  starting at 9:00a.m.

Winter residents are arriving, while some year-around residents have molted into winter plumage. October arrivals include Lark and Clay-colored Sparrows, with Chipping Sparrows now in winter plumage. On the presa, Ring-necked ducks, Northern Shovelers and both Blue- and Green-winged Teal have been seen, while Ruddy Ducks have molted into winter plumage, called 'eclipse.' Sandpipers and other waders are coming in to the Parque Landeta marsh.  Look for more new arrivals in November.
