The Biblioteca Pública (Public Library) has a wide variety of books in English and Spanish for reference and loan. An annual membership supports this non-profit organization's scholarship fund and rural library program. Donations of quality books in English or Spanish are appreciated.

The Environmental Education Project of San Miguel de Allende
PEASMA aims to educate a new generation promoting awareness, love, and respect for the environment. Working with teachers to reinforce activities in a practical way, PEASMA focuses on short-term hands-on workshops and field trips that allow students to become closer to their natural surroundings and to see the immediate impact of their actions. FAI. Fundación de Apoyo Infantil (Save the Children) is responsible for the coordination of PEASMA.
