The Lavender Project is a cooperative in a small rural town 35 miles north of San Miguel de Allende raising organic lavendar for soaps, oil, honey and other products. Proceeds from the Lavender Project fund a breakfast program for 60 children in the town of La Colorada. A women's coop creates Sola Lavanda artisan soaps which
are available in San Miguel de Allende at the
El Charco store,
La Victoriana, and craft markets.
